Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Throwing Muses frontwoman returned to her solo acoustic work with this intensely personal and remarkably direct set of folk songs. Stripped of her primary band's angular rock dynamics, 'Strange Angels' focuses entirely on Hersh's intricate acoustic guitar picking and deeply introspective, emotionally raw vocal delivery.
