Album Notes & Community Reviews

The contemporary classical ensemble honors the legacy of the legendary jazz pianist by adapting his angular, syncopated compositions for strings. The project successfully bridges third-stream aesthetics with avant-garde chamber music sensibilities, preserving the idiosyncrasies of the original source material.
