Album Notes & Community Reviews

A highly acclaimed recording of the Polish avant-garde composer's massive 1966 orchestral and choral masterpiece. The terrifyingly dissonant sonorism, microtonal clusters, and shrieking choirs create an overwhelmingly intense, modernist reinterpretation of a sacred musical tradition.
