Album Notes & Community Reviews
Serving as their final studio release before entering an indefinite hiatus, 'Exhausting Fire' perfectly encapsulates the band's distinctive blend of sludge metal and hypnotic psychedelia. The quintet continues to utilize their trademark dual-drummer attack, anchoring murky, fuzz-drenched riffs and ethereal vocal harmonies. The record maintains a melancholic, mysterious aura, leaning heavily into atmospheric textures without sacrificing their underlying heavy roots.
