Album Notes & Community Reviews

The album that carried Qu茅bec traditional music to a national audience, 'Je voudrais changer de chapeau' won the Juno Award for Best Roots and Traditional Album. It was the first Bottine record to add a brass section, and it introduced Denis Fr茅chette, R茅gent Archambault and Michel Bordeleau to the lineup built around Yves Lambert, widening the group's dance-driven sound without leaving the Lanaudi猫re tradition.
