Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking his sixth full-length studio album, 'Glued to the TV' represents a highly abstract and introspective statement from Nigeria-born, Toronto-based artist LA Timpa. Released via Lolina's Relaxin Records, the record was built heavily on studio improvisation, degraded tape loops, and found sound collage. The compositions seamlessly weave together sparse pop melodies, warm ambient drone washes, and fuzzy hypnagogic pop textures into a deeply surreal, dark, and lethargic auditory diary.
