Anxiety

Album Notes & Community Reviews

After a massive breakout debut heavily defined by slick 1980s pastiche, Pip Brown's sophomore effort leans into a noticeably rougher, guitar-driven aesthetic. The album actively pulls from 1990s grunge and Britpop influences, layering distorted guitars over her signature pulsating synthesizer rhythms. Thematically, the record grapples directly with the intense psychological struggles, depression, and literal exhaustion brought on by her sudden rise to international fame.
