Album Notes & Community Reviews

Standing for 'For Love Often Turns Us Still', Kurt Wagner drastically reinvents the Nashville collective's alt-country sound for their twelfth studio album. Heavily inspired by modern hip-hop production and electronic music, the record relies almost entirely on drum machines, synthesizers, and Wagner's heavily auto-tuned vocal croon. It represents a daring, highly successful stylistic leap into melancholic indietronica.
