Album Notes & Community Reviews

Dedicated to the late Vic Chesnutt, Kurt Wagner's prolific Nashville collective delivered a profoundly lush, orchestrally rich masterpiece for their eleventh album. The record relies on Wagner's deadpan croon, backed by weeping strings and delicate piano, creating an atmosphere of bittersweet, quirky chamber pop.
