Album Notes & Community Reviews

While the original chamber-pop ballad maintained a cinematic aesthetic, Cedric Gervais's high-energy EDM remix transformed the track into an unexpected club and festival staple. The remix propelled the deeply melancholic song to massive commercial success. It significantly expanded Lana Del Rey's global mainstream reach, becoming her first top-ten hit in the United States.
