Land of the Loops is the solo project of Boston musician Alan Sutherland, and 'Puttering About a Small Land', his second full-length, is a plunderphonic collage of thrift-store easy listening, lounge and space age pop samples looped into downtempo instrumentals. Mixed by Tucker Martine, it features guest vocals from Beat Happening's Heather Lewis and Takako Minekawa amid its predominantly instrumental programme.
