Album Notes & Community Reviews

Self-released exclusively on cassette and sold mostly on the streets of New York or at spiritual retreats, this lo-fi treasure diverges from his standard zither ambient works. The recordings feature Laraaji utilizing a Casio synthesizer and drum machine to construct hazy, deeply earnest devotional pop songs about cosmic love and universal consciousness. It has since been recognized as a deeply moving, outsider classic of spiritual synth-pop.
