Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in London with guidance from Beatles producer George Martin, this landmark release fundamentally established the artistic parameters of modern Christian rock. Norman's biting, socially conscious lyricism critiques both secular society and organized religion, set against a backdrop of gritty rock and roll and folk-rock arrangements. It proved that faith-based music could be musically uncompromising and intellectually challenging, securing his legacy as the genre's most crucial pioneer.
