Album Notes & Community Reviews

Conceived following her cross-country relocation and the subsequent loss of all her possessions in a New York apartment fire, 'Empire Builder' is a deeply resilient reflection on rebuilding. Laura Gibson layers her distinctive, delicate vibrato over intricate string arrangements and warm folk-pop instrumentation.
