Album Notes & Community Reviews

Arranged and composed largely on a laptop before being brought to life with a full orchestra, the British vocalist's debut is a dazzling, deeply sophisticated pop triumph. Fusing the intricate vocal layering of gospel with grand, sweeping classical instrumentation, the record defies standard contemporary R&B trends in favor of timeless, theatrical elegance.
