Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in front of a small audience during a period of immense media scrutiny and personal turmoil, this live set completely abandons the slick neo-soul of her blockbuster debut. Armed with only an acoustic guitar and featuring lengthy, emotionally raw spoken interludes, it stands as a polarizing, deeply vulnerable artistic statement.
