Album Notes & Community Reviews

Garrett Hays, a foundational figure in the outrun aesthetic, steers his Lazerhawk project away from neon-soaked street racing toward a distinctly cosmic, science-fiction atmosphere. The album utilizes driving, heavily sequenced analog basslines and glittering synthesizer arpeggios that directly homage 1980s space operas and early Italodisco. It remains a highly energetic, crucial touchstone in the ongoing retro-futurist electronic revival.
