Duologue

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Embracing an incredibly intimate, stripped-down setting, 'Duologue' pairs the smoky, sophisticated vocals of Lee Wiley with the delicate piano accompaniment of Ellis Larkins. The absence of a larger ensemble exposes the nuanced phrasing and subtle emotional depth of Wiley's interpretations of classic standards. The session captures a quiet, late-night elegance rarely found in highly orchestrated 1950s pop vocal albums.
