Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the final studio album by the legendary Finnish band, 'Hopeahääpäivä' was released just weeks before the sudden passing of mastermind Gösta Sundqvist. The record acts as a bittersweet summation of their pop rock sound, balancing upbeat, jangly melodies with melancholy narratives of everyday life. The project beautifully bookends a highly influential three-decade career that transformed the landscape of Finnish popular music.
