Album Notes & Community Reviews

Leevi and the Leavings' 1998 release, 'Kerran elÀmÀssÀ', further refines their highly accessible blend of alternative pop rock styles. The album constructs bittersweet, narrative-heavy tracks tracking ordinary human relationships and existential dread, hidden beneath deceptively bright pop hooks. The record achieved gold status in Finland, continuing their uninterrupted streak of commercial and critical relevance.
