Eschewing the heavily synthesized sounds popular in the late 80s, 'Let Love Rule' is a warm, retro-leaning exploration of 60s and 70s rock, soul, and funk. Kravitz famously handled almost all the instrumentation and production himself, crafting an organic, analog atmosphere. The debut successfully established his trademark neo-psychedelic aesthetic and launched a highly successful crossover career.
