Album Notes & Community Reviews
Heavily inspired by his high-profile divorce, the artist's sophomore release significantly broadened his retro-rock stylings to encompass Curtis Mayfield-esque funk and psychedelic soul. Buoyed by the massive hit 'It Ain't Over 'til It's Over', it established him as a premier mainstream rock act of the decade.
