Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released to commemorate the centenary of Charles Baudelaire's controversial masterwork, this recording sets the seminal poetry to sweeping, dramatic musical arrangements. The passionate, theatrical delivery bridges the gap between classic literature and modern French chanson, securing a permanent cultural synthesis of the two mediums.
