Album Notes & Community Reviews

Conducting the New York Philharmonic, Leonard Bernstein provides the definitive interpretations of two of his most culturally significant dramatic scores. The recording captures the brutal, syncopated jazz-classical fusion of 'West Side Story' alongside the brooding, heroic cinematic tension defining his work on 'On the Waterfront'.
