Dear Heather

Album Notes & Community Reviews

One of Leonard Cohen's most experimental and eclectic albums, 'Dear Heather' places a heavy emphasis on spoken word. Many tracks feature Cohen reciting poetry—both his own and that of others—over minimalist synthesizer backdrops and sparse jazz arrangements. It's an intimate and unconventional record that often feels more like a collection of musical sketches than a traditional album, showcasing his pure love for language.
