Album Notes & Community Reviews

Sourced from his 1988 and 1993 tours, this slickly produced live album showcases the legendary poet backed by a highly polished, synthesizer-heavy ensemble. The arrangements breathe grand, cabaret-style life into his trademark melancholic material, highlighted by the intricate vocal harmonies of his backing singers. The release played a crucial role in cementing his resurgence in popularity during the early 90s.
