Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Norwegian progressive metal quintet takes a massive evolutionary step, largely shedding their aggressive, heavy metal origins for sweeping, polyrhythmic alternative rock. The album features prominent cello contributions from Raphael Weinroth-Browne and focuses heavily on Einar Solberg's soaring, theatrical clean vocals. It proved to be a defining, highly successful pivot toward emotional progressive rock.
