Tamboo!

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Continuing to define the parameters of the emerging exotica genre, the visionary arranger delivers an incredibly lush, highly cinematic sonic exploration of idealized tropical themes. The sweeping, heavily romanticized string orchestrations are underscored by complex, hypnotic Afro-Cuban percussion and dramatic dynamic shifts designed to exploit early high-fidelity stereo systems. The grandiose, deeply escapist production perfectly encapsulates the optimistic, globally curious spirit of the Space Age Pop era.
