Of Fungi and Foe

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Primus frontman constructs a distinctly bizarre solo effort primarily utilizing material originally composed for a video game soundtrack and an independent horror film. Featuring extensive use of unconventional instrumentation and heavy bass manipulation, the tracks are intensely rhythmic, quirky, and deeply surreal. The record perfectly captures Claypool's idiosyncratic, darkly humorous approach to alternative rock.
