Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring the highly influential, blues-drenched piano of Les McCann, 'On Time' merges the relaxed aesthetic of West Coast jazz with the heavy, gospel-inflected grooves of hard bop. The album showcases his signature 'soul jazz' style, characterized by its deep pocket, accessibility, and infectious rhythmic drive.
