Album Notes & Community Reviews

Exploding with furious political consciousness and chaotic energy, 'The Blackest Beautiful' is a towering achievement in modern post-hardcore. Frontman Jason Aalon Butler delivers an incredibly impassioned, aggressive vocal performance backed by angular, groove-heavy metalcore instrumentation. The album's highly compressed, raw production polarized some but perfectly captured the frantic intensity of the band's legendary live shows.
