Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Kenneth S. Goldstein for the Prestige/Bluesville label, 'Blues in My Bottle' captures Lightnin' Hopkins in a strictly acoustic, solo setting. The unvarnished session highlights his idiosyncratic Texas country blues fingerpicking and extemporaneous vocal narratives during the height of the folk revival.
