Walkin' This Road by Myself

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded during his highly prolific rediscovery phase, 'Walkin' This Road by Myself' features Lightnin' Hopkins laying down stark, improvisational country blues narratives. The album highlights his erratic, deeply personal sense of timing and heavily poetic storytelling, accompanied primarily by his own acoustic guitar. It is a pure, unvarnished look at the quintessential Texas bluesman.
