Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Astral Navigations' is a remarkably rare split release issued by the independent British label Holyground, featuring distinct sides by local underground acts Lightyears Away and Thundermother. The record transitions from delicate, pastoral psychedelic folk on the first half to heavy, progressive rock workouts on the second. It stands as a vital, privately pressed artifact documenting the diverse cross-currents of the Yorkshire underground music scene.
