Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded when Shad Moss was thirteen years old, 'Beware of Dog' is the debut album by Lil Bow Wow and a defining document of pop rap's commercial turn. Produced primarily by his mentor Jermaine Dupri, with guests including Xscape, Jagged Edge, Da Brat and Snoop Dogg, its singles 'Bounce with Me' and 'Bow Wow (That's My Name)' frame youthful melodicism over bounce and boom bap production.
