Album Notes & Community Reviews

Achieving staggering commercial dominance, this meticulously produced album ousted Fleetwood Mac's 'Rumours' from the number one spot on the Billboard charts. The record perfectly encapsulates the slick, massively popular Southern California country-rock sound, featuring definitive, polished covers of Roy Orbison and Warren Zevon. It cemented Ronstadt's status as the reigning, unparalleled superstar of female vocal pop in the 1970s.
