Album Notes & Community Reviews

The album pairs Lionel Marchetti's electronic constructions and J茅r么me Noetinger's Revox tape manipulations with Mathieu Werchowski's violin in long-form electroacoustic improvisation. Noetinger, founder of the Metamkine label and distribution network, treats the tape recorder as an instrument, and the trio's interplay defines the French strain of EAI: microscopic gesture, unstable electronics and silence used as material.
