Magic Neighbor

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The veteran multi-instrumentalist delivers an incredibly intimate, whimsical, and slightly unsettling collection of avant-pop songs on her eighth solo record. The highly delicate, acoustic-driven arrangements heavily feature her distinctive, breathy vocal delivery and idiosyncratic violin playing. The album exudes a surreal, childlike atmosphere that explores themes of domestic isolation and fantasy.
