Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking her debut for Rough Trade Records, Irish songwriter Lisa O'Neill presents a cinematic, deeply pastoral exploration of nature and literature. 'All of This Is Chance' draws profound inspiration from the poetry of Patrick Kavanagh, utilizing lush orchestral arrangements alongside traditional folk instrumentation. O'Neill's distinctive, coarse vocal timbre commands the sparse acoustic landscape, offering a mesmerizing take on contemporary Celtic folk.
