Album Notes & Community Reviews

Solidifying their classic lineup with the addition of Paul Barrere and Kenny Gradney, Lowell George steered Little Feat into unparalleled New Orleans funk territory. 'Dixie Chicken' is an incredibly warm, brilliantly melodic southern rock classic, overflowing with fiercely rhythmic, wonderfully happy boogie grooves and deeply passionate, uniquely off-kilter swamp-rock romanticism.
