Album Notes & Community Reviews
Departing slightly from the pure bubblegum pop of their debut, 'Salute' finds the British girl group embracing a significantly more mature, 1990s-inspired R&B sound. The record is driven by militaristic, empowerment anthems and heavily emphasizes the quartet's formidable, airtight vocal harmonies. It was praised for its confident songwriting and successfully solidified their massive commercial dominance across the United Kingdom.
