Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded at the Club Domino in Atlanta, this incendiary performance captures the legendary architect of rock and roll ferociously reclaiming his own catalog. Backed by a fiercely driving rhythm and blues band, he supercharges his classic 1950s hits with the aggressive, deeply syncopated energy of contemporary soul and emerging funk. The sweat-drenched, hysterically energetic set effectively revitalized his career for the late 1960s.
