Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Dallas-raised vocalist delivers a dizzying, fractured debut album heavily rooted in Southern soul and abstract beat tapes. Co-produced entirely with Mejiwahn, the record utilizes incredibly brief song structures, lo-fi vocal mixing, and dusty, erratic jazz samples. It was widely praised for its hazy, deeply psychedelic atmosphere and conversational approach to neo-soul.
