Album Notes & Community Reviews

Transitioning away from their traditional heavy metal roots, the German quintet fully embraced frantic tempos and jagged riff structures. 'Protected From Reality' is notorious for Thorsten Bergmann's highly unorthodox, shrieking vocal delivery, which polarized listeners but gave the band a deeply unique identity. The chaotic intensity of the recording established them as a truly eccentric force within the European speed metal explosion.
