Lizzobangers

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Lizzo's debut album is a raw, energetic, and aggressive showcase of her formidable skills as an MC. Produced entirely by Lazerbeak and Ryan Olson, 'Lizzobangers' is a world away from her later pop sound, rooted in dense, sample-heavy, industrial-tinged boom bap. It's a triumphant and conscious hip-hop record that demonstrates her lyrical dexterity and powerful, commanding presence on the mic.
