Album Notes & Community Reviews

Mark Van Hoen鈥檚 strictly electronic project Locust. delivers an incredibly tense, highly cinematic masterpiece of dark ambient techno on 'Truth Is Born of Arguments'. The album seamlessly blends heavily distorted, mechanical IDM rhythms with terrifyingly bleak, post-industrial synthesizer drones. It stands today as a profoundly unsettling, highly influential pioneer of the claustrophobic illbient microgenre.
