Released on John Peel's Dandelion imprint, this sprawling double album perfectly encapsulates the deeply eccentric, boundaryless vision of the British soprano saxophonist. The record is a bewildering collage of atonal free-jazz improvisation, absurd spoken-word interludes, and field recordings of street performances, heavily featuring collaborations with Robert Wyatt and Kevin Ayers. It is a wildly uncommercial, humorous cornerstone of the Canterbury avant-garde.
