Self Portrait

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Demonstrating a sophisticated evolution in aggressive music, 'Self Portrait' expands the traditional boundaries of its genre through complex melodic interplay and dynamic shifts. The Bay Area group utilizes dissonant chord progressions and relentless rhythmic sections to underscore themes of introspection and existential anxiety. Its raw emotional delivery and abrasive textures maintain the intensity of their earlier work while introducing more nuanced, atmospheric passages.
