Album Notes & Community Reviews

The project reunited the two veteran musicians after decades of relative obscurity during the post-war era. The intimate, unamplified setting strips away commercial rhythm and blues production, highlighting the sophisticated, jazz-inflected guitar picking that influenced early pioneers like Robert Johnson.
