Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following her dismissal from X-Ray Spex and the dissolution of Essential Logic, the saxophonist and vocalist delivered this delightfully eccentric solo debut. 'Pedigree Charm' utilizes mutant disco rhythms and bright, discordant saxophone blasts to create a playful, highly rhythmic strain of left-field pop. The record highlights her utterly unique, idiosyncratic approach to the post-punk framework before her temporary retirement from the music industry.
